BIO:
Trained through InnerCamp, Lisa is a master breathwork practitioner who travels internationally to study, work, play, and train others in the art of Holosomatic® breathing practices, somatic therapies and trauma release strategies. 


Holosomatic® Breath and Bodywork techniques are powerful tools for shifting the nervous system and catalyzing huge energetic, physical, and emotional releases from the body. She creates safe, compassionate, healing containers that she holds with humor, fearlessness, and absolute professional integrity. 


You can find her singing her heart out in Kirtan, on long walks with friends, exercising her sacred audacity, snuggling all the cats, working with the Force, dancing in the dark, traveling the globe, and on Instagram as ‘respirewithlisa’

DESCRIPTION: 

"Holosomatic Breathwork and Bodywork are integrative therapeutic practices that combine conscious breathing techniques and holistic body manipulation to promote emotional ease, relief from tension, and overall well-being to name a few. This unique blend focuses attention across our energetic, physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies through breath, sound, movement, and touch.


Holosomatic Breathwork focuses on the power of diaphragmatic breathing to release stored emotional and physical tension, enhance self-awareness, and facilitate healing on multiple levels. Through guided controlled, deep breathing patterns, individuals can access altered states of consciousness leading to emotional relief, mental clarity, peace, and a deeper connection to self, others, and Source.


Holosomatic Bodywork employs techniques like deep tissue massage, gentle stretching, acupressure, tapping, somatic experiencing, and self administered touch to help the body release stored trauma that is trapped in cellular tissue and fascia, alleviate chronic tension, understand the relationships between physical sensations and emotions, as well as reduce depression and anxiety. This method focuses on restoring the body's natural alignment and energy flow, facilitating the release of physical and emotional blockages.


Together, these therapies offer a comprehensive, safe, and compassionate pathway to healing and nervous system regulation, addressing both the physiological and psychological impacts of trauma as a mind-body connection practice."

Day Of information: 

PREP FOR THE SESSION:
Leave 1.5 - 2 hour gap between your last meal and the event. If you must eat, make it light.


Wear modest/comfortable/loose clothes. You will be asked to silence phones and remove watches.


PLEASE BRING: 

yoga mat, sleeping pad, or some folded blankets to lay on 

water
tissues

1 small/thin pillow

journal/paper, pen
2 blankets or 1 blanket/1 bolster or cushion (1 to cover self and 1 as a prop) 

(optional but recommended) eye mask/cloth 

You might like to create an intention for your experience. It's not necessary but a point of focus can help guide your journey. An intention can be a short statement: I intend to... or an open ended question.
Give yourself at least 2 - 2.5 hours for our time together.
